Aero gains
The refined and wind tunnel-approved NACA-shapes (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) make our frame highly aerodynamic. At the same time, the frame only weighs 865 g for frame size M with an additional 400 g for the fork. Our C.I.S. road stem hides the cables below the stem. It also comes with an integrated bike computer mount for both Wahoo and Garmin.
7 sizes for a perfect fit
The IZALCO MAX is available in seven sizes. In combination with the stem, which we offer in six lengths from 70 to 120 mm, it really does have all the sizes for each and every one of you.
Effortless handling and maximum stiffness
To enable you to get that extra power on the road, the bottom bracket is optimised for stiffness, and the fork for lateral stiffness. Together with a bold geometry for easier cornering, especially at high speeds, the IZALCO MAX is the road bike for all ambitions.

Technical support for the izalco max
Technology
How does the bike computer mount work?
The bike computer mount bracket will be mounted through the hole in the faceplate of the stem. Onto that bracket you can fit either the Garmin or Wahoo computer mount. You can also adjust it to your preferred angle.
Can I also use electronic shifting on the 8. series? Can I also use the integrated stem on models of the 8. series that are older than 2021?
Both, 8. and 9. series can be used with electronic and mechanical shifting.
How do I change the stem or stem length?
You can order a different stem length via your dealer. During the IZALCO MAX development process, it was key to make the stem easily exchangeble without removing or cutting any cables. But you should consider the following: Switching to a longer stem might require longer cables. Make sure the cables are long enough. Switching to a shorter stem might lead to long cables which could be shortened for a cleaner look. Here are all stem lengths with their order number:
AM120222009 C.I.S. road stem 70 mm
AM120222010 C.I.S. road stem 80 mm
AM120222011 C.I.S. road stem 90 mm
AM120222012 C.I.S. road stem 100 mm
AM120222013 C.I.S. road stem 110 mm
AM120222014 C.I.S. road stem 120 mm
I want to ride a lower front. I want to ride with less spacers. Is it possible?
The IZALCO MAX stem gives you the freedom to find your perfect riding position. Simply remove one of the split spacers underneath the stem and add a round spacer with the same height on top. If you have found your perfect riding position, remove the round spacers on top and cut the steerer for a clean look. If you need help, you can always ask your local dealer.
What material are the stems made of?
The 8. series and 9. series share an aluminium stem.
Can I mount a bike computer or an action cam on the stem?
Every IZALCO MAX equipped with an integrated, variable bike computer mount and a GoPro mount that can be attached to the bike computer mount.
To which bike classification does the IZALCO MAX apply?
The IZALCO MAX applies to condition 6: road bikes. It is to be used in competition or otherwise at high speed in excess of 50 km/h such as when descending or sprinting.
Is the IZALCO MAX UCI rule conform?
The IZALCO MAX is compliant with the current UCI rules and comes with the corresponding sticker.
What is the difference between the forks of the 8. series and the 9. series?
There is no difference. The forks of both series are the same.
Equipment
Can I use the IZALCO MAX on a smart trainer?
Yes, the 9. and 8. series models of the IZALCO MAX are approved. They are allowed on direct drive trainers.
Can I attach a bike trailer?
The IZALCO MAX is not tested and not approved to use with a bike trailer.
Dimensions / Standards
I need more details on dimensions (bottom bracket, headset, etc.)
Please see the exploded drawing for all details: IZALCO MAX MY24
What is the maximum rotor dimension?
The bike's constructive rotor size is 160 mm in the front and 140 mm in the back. But starting at size M, the bike comes with 160/160 mm rotors
Which groupsets do fit? With what dimensions?
All road groupsets will fit the bikes, for both 8. series and 9. series.
Which is the maximum tire width?
For the frame, 30 mm tires will fit. But it also depends on the tire manufacturer and the rim width. In general, the tire is safe to ride when there is a 4 mm clearance between tire and frame as well as between tire and fork.
Which wheelsize should I take?
The IZALCO MAX is designed for 700c road tire standard.
What is the maximum weight?
The maximum system weight for carbon bikes is 110 kg. It includes rider, bike and all equipment.
Can I change between 1by and 2by shifting? What is 1by and 2by?
It means that the bike is either equipped with two or only one chainring in the front. So 1by would refer to one chainring in the front and 2by to two chainrings. Our IZALCO MAX is designed for a 2by setup, so the front derailleur hanger is not removable. Nevertheless, 1by is possible.
Parts
Can I add fenders, kickstand, rack?
As the IZALCO MAX is our bike for pushing speed limits, there are no mounting options.
